My passion for makeup began back in my school days. I loved experimenting with different looks—lots of foundation, thin, arched brows... basically, just as the trends dictated at the time. These experiments brought me joy and inspiration, but when I started university, I had to set makeup aside. My studies and the need to support myself took up all my time and energy. However, as life often does, fate had a plan to bring me back to my true passion.

One day, I was invited to model at one of the best makeup schools in Kyiv. That experience reignited my creative spark, and I decided to train as a makeup artist and brow stylist. I quit my stressful office job and dove headfirst into the creative world. Soon, clients began booking my services, and my work brought me not only joy but also a stable income. I truly felt like I was walking on clouds.

But life is full of challenges. When the war started, I was forced to leave everything I had built and move to Sweden.

Adapting to a new country is never easy, especially when faced with such a different culture and way of life. Finding a job was a real challenge. All my makeup tools were left behind, and makeup artistry isn't as popular in Scandinavia as it is back home. For a while, I had to put my makeup dreams on hold and focus on finding any job I could.
